I think i've descovered a new sport...speed eating. now most of you have probably seen me eat and i'm a pretty fast eater but here in korea i'm unbearably slow. everyone has finished and left the table before i've even gotten started. i swear they don't chew, breath, anything. they just shovel, shovel, shovel. it's almost mesmorizing.

Love the way you describe your experiences. Good luck with your new toilet seat. Are they shoveling with chopsticks or just using mad skills in picking up their food quickly with chopsticks? Or are chopsticks not big in Korea?
they have the mad skills with the chopsticks. they pick up and shove large quantities into their mouths. I don't even know how they do it. and it doesn't even look like they are eating faster than any other person but then *poof* they have no food left and they started with more than i did. i don't understand. it must be magic.
